We have just one NHL game tonight as the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs concludes. I have two NHL anytime goalscorer picks for that lone matchup: Oilers vs. Canucks Game 7 (9 p.m. ET, ESPN & ESPN+).

Betting on NHL anytime goalscorers is simple enough: If your player scores a goal at any point in the game, your bet is a winner. MLB has its dingers; the NHL has its anytime goalscorers. And with both types of player props, the bets usually come with plus-money odds attached to them, so they're a favorite among all types of sports bettors.

Oilers vs. Canucks

Monday, May 20, 8 p.m. ET, ESPN & ESPN+
Zach Hyman (+110 at BetMGM)

Edmonton forward Zach Hyman leads the team in goals this postseason with 10, which is pretty remarkable when you consider that he has scored just once over the past five games of this series.

However, after failing to score in Games 2-5, he got the monkey off of the back in Game 6, and I think he is a good candidate to find the back of the net once again in Game 7.

Not only does Hyman lead the Oilers in goals this postseason, but he also leads the team in 5-on-5 goals. That is important to note because the refs have historically swallowed the whistles in Game 7s, and someone is going to have to commit an egregious or obvious penalty to send the other team to the power play in this outing.

Furthermore, goaltender Arturs Silovs has played well in this series (for the most part), but he has still been beatable. Silovs has allowed three or more goals in five of the first six games of this series, posting a fade-worthy .879 SV% and 3.47 GAA over that stretch.

Pick: Zach Hyman (+110 at BetMGM)
